![]() ![]() ![]() Back then some games were either a hard E or a soft T but I'm glad we have the E10+ now to even things out. Now I doubt any Disney game would be T or higher. ![]() Actually, a few Disney games like The Incredibles had to be T-rated even though the movie was PG but that's because there was no E10+ at the time. That affected a lot of games at the time too, like Burnout 3: Takedown (T), F-Zero GX (T), and many Disney games. That was only because E10+ didn't exist yet. I remember when the PS2 Ratchet & Clank games were rated T but that got rectified when they were re-released on PS3 as E10+. Given how strict the ESRB can be with its ratings process, it is possible that Red Barrels simply doesn’t believe the cut content is too mature for the M-rated. Everything else was T-rated but after DOAX, the series just never went back to T for some reason (except for Dimensions). How does that make sense?ĭead or Alive 4 was apparently rated M because of om the opening movie. The content descriptor even removes some things like use of tobacco. Outlast Trinity features over 20 hours of terrifying gameplay across Outlast, Outlast: Whistleblower and the all new Outlast 2. The critically acclaimed franchise is now available for the first time on disc as a complete package. Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus (and R) was another game that shouldn't have gotten an M rating either, especially since all of the other games are rated T. Outlast is a first-person survival horror series developed by Red Barrels. The content descriptor says that it has blood and gore and language but none of those things were ever in that game. That is so weird! I was about to argue against you but looking it up on the ESRB website proves that you are correct! I wonder why it got re-rated when it was released digitally. ![]()
